Suggested prompts & ~30s scripts

  • Open with a hook that earns attention.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever left a meeting thinking, “I had the right idea—I just didn’t say it well.” Most of us have. Today I want to talk about a skill that quietly decides careers: the ability to make people feel clarity in under a minute. Because in every room, attention is scarce—and the communicators who earn it lead.

  • Deliver your core message with examples.

Great communicators do three things: they open with one memorable point, they support it with one concrete example, and they close with a clear ask. Think of a product launch: “Customers churn in week one.” Show the data. Then ask for the redesign decision. Simple structure creates confidence—for you and for your audience.

  • Close with a call to action.

So here’s my challenge: this week, in one meeting, use that structure—point, proof, ask. Watch how the room responds. If this helped, practice once more tomorrow and teach one colleague. Clarity compounds. Let’s become the people others trust to make conversations count. Thank you.
